Born March 25th 1908 in Horesedly, died February 20th 1986 in Velka Chuchle.

Advertising and industrial designer, painter.

In years 1924-7 he was student of painter and graphic artist Alois Mudrunka, the professor of Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague.
He had studied graphic art and industrial visual art between years 1928-30 at Academy de la Grande Chaumiére in Paris.

He created 20 movie posters for UPF in 1957 and 1958.

He had worked for Leon Boue in Paris from 1929 through 1934 at advertising studio, which produce exhibitions for Shell, Texaco, Mobiloil, Renault, Citroem and Gas de Paris.

He returned to Prague in 1934 and working as freelance visual artist. He won 1st price in movie posters competitions: Pražské vzorkové veletrhy, Eucharistický sjezd v Praze, Pax Romana, Masarykova letecká liga. Spolupracuje s podniky TATRA, ŠKODA, WALTER a ČESKÁ ZBROJOVKA

In 1947 he was designer of collective advertising studio B & R in Prague, he was working for n.c. TATRA, TESLA and became member of Union of cs artists.

He presented model design of trolleybuses and exhibited many different posters on member exhbition of Union of cs artist in 1951.

He worked as advertisement designer between 1957-80 for international marketing companies such as: MOTOKOV, STROJEXPORT, národní podnik MOTOTECHNA, PRAŽSKÉ KOMUNIKACE a AUTODRUŽSTVO.

As industrial designer he created models of vehicles. Some of them were accepted and send to manufacture: car Tatraplan (1947), trolleybus T400 (1947), tram T1 (1948), tram T2 (1951), tram T3 (1954),train Balm (1955), car TATRA 603 (1952-3), trains for prague underground (1960-3), tram KT4 (1972), tram T5 (1972-3) and railway electric machine M475.0 (1976).
He paint trought 70s oil on canvas with portraits of hockey and tenis players, Indians.
