Born 2nd of January 1944 in Prague.
Graphic artist, illustrator, author of animated films and exhibition designer.
Studied at the Secondary Applied Arts School (1958-1962) and the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague (1962-1968; Adolf Hoffmeister) as well as the Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts in Brussels (1982; Roger Dewint). Over the years 1990-1993 has taught at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. Has exhibitede on his own since the year 1984. Over the years 1962-1989 created fifty-three film posters.
We presented poster art made by Petr Poš in December 2005 with his personal attendance on his exhibiton in kino Svetozor.
He´s working in advertisement graphic, illustration, exhibition design. During his artistic active years he has created about thirty illustrated titles and forthy posters for UPF and commercial purposes, he was awarded with many honorable prices for.
